Things to do in Calgary: Improvs-a-brewing

One of our favorite weekend activities this summer was watching improv comedy at the Loose Moose Theatre. The atmosphere is laid back and casual, you can show up in beat-up jeans and a t-shirt and settle in for a hilarious evening of improv. We particularly gained a certain respect for this art after watching the Netflix movie, Don't Think Twice (but that's for another date night). Loose Moose has shows Fridays to Sundays, we prefer to go on Saturday nights. Pair this with a visit to High Line brewing for a wonderful evening!

Cost: $15 per ticket + $2 per 5 oz beer sample

Start: Around 6P.M. at High Line Brewing

In the heart of Inglewood, this local brewery has a fantastic selection of fresh, draft beer. We enjoy getting a sampler flight and trying all drafts while playing Jenna or Exploding Kittens, which are freely available at the tables.

Finish: 8 P.M. at Loose Moose Theatre

Tickets are sold at the door and in advance on their website. The website also describes the theme of the show. Because every show is improvised and unique, you can keep redoing this date night without it becoming stale!
